On arrival at Luqa Airport Malta, you have four main options to reach your desired destination:

1. Take a taxi
With flights from Ireland arriving into Malta late at night, a taxi is your best option.
Walk up to the taxi booth located in the arrivals hall, pay for your taxi and voilà!

A taxi from the airport to Sliema costs €20, St. Julian's €20 and Valletta €15.

2. Hop on a local bus
The last bus leaves the airport for Sliema and St. Julians (San Giljan) at 23:00.

3. Pre-arranged airport pick up
Pre-book your airport pickup at http://www.maltatransfer.com
The Malta Transfer booth is located in the baggage hall.

4. Rent a car
Personally we wouldn't recommend this option in Malta.
Maltese drivers are erratic and parking is limited, in urban areas on the island.
